Kindergarten is very busy preparing for International Childrens Day. Our current theme is titled, Sharing the Planet. The children have been focusing on the concepts of reducing, reusing and recycling; therefore, we will make all of our games and decorations for the fair out of recyclable materials. We are still in need of soup cans if you would like to donate some for one of our games.
The children have also been creating Earth related art and have enjoyed re-purposing different materials for their various individual art projects.
Additionally, the kindergartners are starting an inquiry of 3D shapes. They enjoyed inquiring about different shapes through a variety of different activities this week. We will continue to explore 3D shapes during the next few weeks.
