This week the students largely focused on different math inquires as per their interests. This week the students decided that they wanted to take a poll of everyone's favorite animal. We then determined which animals were the most popular and which ones were the least favorite. In this process the children also learned the process of tallying. They also spent time this week tallying different objects they found in the room such as the toy fruit.
The students also continued writing letters this week. The children produce so many letters daily and really love sending and receiving the letters. We will continue the letter writing for as long as they show an interest as it is proving to be great spelling and writing practice.
