This week we continued our new unit, How the World Works, by exploring the children`s interest in animals. This week for show and tell the students brought in their favorite animal. Next week we will begin to explore the life cycle of that particular animal.
This week the student also continued their inquiry on graphing. Together they brainstormed different things they would like to graph in the future. The students decided that next week they would like to graph different interests they all have; for example, who likes chocolate and who does not.
Finally, we have been discussing the concept of tattle tailing. The student had a discussion today about what was and what was not an appropriate time to tell on someone. The students are beginning to understand this concept.
