How the World Works- Week 26

Our unit How the World Works is coming to end. This week the students observed their plants to see if any changes had occurred since last week. Unfortunately, most of the plants haven't sprouted yet so the children were unable to document changes.

However, the students did learn what it means to make predictions. All of the students were asked to think about what will happen to their plant. Some have hopes that it will grow soon and some predicted that the plants will not grow. Hopefully after the break there will be some changes. This week the students did observe that cheery blossoms have grown on the tree out in the playground. In the spirit of this the students made their own sakura tree art. I will send these beautiful pieces home with them today.

Have a great spring break!
